Welcome to Beginner Agility with D&S Dogs of Course.
We will be having our registration on Monday, May 5, 2008, at 6:30 out at our portable building at our outdoor ring at Ebon Stables. If you haven't been out there, check the map and instructions on this website. As you come down the grid road towards Ebon there will be a small dirt road to the right--it'll be the first road you come to--that looks like it goes off into nowhere. Turn down that road and follow it on around the hedge. The D&S ring will be the one on your left as you come through the hedge. Remember that, once you turn onto Ebon land, there are horses ridden by young people that may appear out of nowhere. Please drive slowly and cautiously, especially when approaching the turn through the hedge.
Once the paperwork part of the registration is done, we will hold a "dogless" introduction to agility and a training session for you, the handler. We will also be able to give you an idea of what to bring and what to expect the following week when the classes start.
Please print out our registration form--fill it out and bring it with you. You will find it on this website by following the instructions on the email that was sent to you.
The cost of the class is $120.00 ($108 for a second dog in the same household) for an 8 week session. You are welcome to pay by cheque or cash.
We would ask that you confirm that you still want the spot in the class. We have opened a 7:30 class as well due to a large demand for classes. However, the puppy lifestyles/agility and the Jr Handler agility are both at 6:30 only. When you send your confirmation that you want to attend the class, could you please give me your name, your dog's name, breed and age, any other type of training you may have completed and your preferred time slot of 6:30 to 7:30 or 7:30 to 8:30. We will fill the time slots in the order that we originally received the requests for classes. If you absolutely can't make one of the time slots, please let us know.
