2009 Regionals
Band City did themselves proud this weekend with the Regionals. Many thanks to Sharon, Daryl and the crew there for all their hard work. It was great to have John judging us again--his calm and good sense of humour are always a bonus. Plus, the smoothest course of the weekend was one of his!
D&S students did themselves proud out there. Lots of individual placements, some individual bests and quite a few qualifiers (see below).
My own brag--Chaos and I broke 400 points--a personal goal. After qualifying in 2006 and 2007 we had a terrible 2008 Regionals and didn't even come close. Well, 2009 was much better. And although I know I said I wasn't going this year--Diane talked me into it and I have my flights booked as of this morning.
